In June of farms of all categories (agricultural organizations, farmers and private farms), according to preliminary estimates, produced goods for 340,6 billion roubles, which is 3% more than in June last year.

In the first half compared to the same period last year, production also rose 3%, to 1 trillion 658 billion.

Rosstat reported that in June, the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter (in live weight) increased by 8.4% to 1.2 million tonnes. Compared to may of this year, it fell by 1.7%.

The dairy industry developed in June, 3.3 million tons of milk, which is 2.2% more than in June last year. Compared to may, the growth amounted to 8.9%.

Egg production in June increased 0.7 percent to 4.1 billion units, compared with may - by 1.3%.

In the first half of the year produced 7.1 million tons of livestock and poultry for slaughter (in live weight), which is 4% higher than the corresponding period last year, 15.8 million tonnes of milk (3.6% more) 22.4 billion eggs (0.5% more).
