For the twelve weeks of the current season Canada exported 8.7 million tons of grain and leguminous crops, according to AGN. Grain Online with reference to the Canadian grain Commission (CGC). Compared with last season, exports declined by 11%.

Exports of soft wheat and canola, the major export items, fell by 23% to 3.2 million tons and 19% to 1.7 million tons, respectively. The pace of export durum wheat and peas, on the contrary, ahead of last year. During the period under review exported 0.7 million tons of durum wheat (+8%) and 1.3 (+17%) million tonnes of peas.
