The implementation of this agreement will allow to reduce terms of delivery of goods from Brazil in the direction of Asia for 2-4 days, and reduce logistical and financial costs for the supply of goods.

According to market operators, the signing of the agreement was due to strained trade relations between the US and China, therefore China will now be able to increase purchases of Brazilian agricultural products, primarily soybeans.

Note that, according to the customs statistics of Brazil, in the period from February 2017 to January 2018, the country exported approximately 54.39 million tons of soybeans to China for a total of $of 20.52 billion.
