Russian bans beef import from Australia
Russia stops export of Australian beef because of steroid in its content.

- Today, on March 31 the ban of Rosselkhoznadzor on import cooled beef from Australia to Russia due to trenbolone use in its production has come into force. Last year more than 30 cases of detection of the steroid in the Australian product were recorded.
- Earlier on March 26 deliveries of the product from JBS Australia Ptyc, one of the largest enterprises of Australia were restricted.
A ban and on import of frozen beef is also possible in the nearest future due to the same reasons.
