On major agricultural markets has remained stable situation.

The grain market. According to the FCS of Russia in 2017/2018 16.05.2018 in the current agricultural year exported crops 46 600 thousand tons, which is 44.6% higher than the same period last season (32 of 230 thousand tons). Exports of wheat for the season was 36 237 thousand tons (+45,7% over the same period the 2016/17 season), barley – 5 157 thousand tons (1.9 times more), corn – 4 899 thousand tons (+9.9 percent).

The average export price of soft wheat. On 17.05.2018 Russian wheat class 4 protein 12,5 (FOB Novorossiysk) – 213$. USA/ton (unchanged), U.S. wheat SRW (SRT Gulf of Mexico) is 202 USD. USA/ton (-3$. USA/ton per week).

As of may 14, 2018 wholesale prices in the European part of the country for wheat flour was 14 555 RUB/ton (+2.9% per week, +7,7% YTD), rye flour – 10 440 roubles/ton (+0.3% for the week, +7,1% YTD).

The market of meat and meat products. In January-March 2018 the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter (in live weight) in farms of all categories amounted to 3.4 million tons and in comparison with the same period in 2017, increased by 5.0%.

According to operational data departmental weekly monitoring the price situation on food market average price of agricultural producers of the Russian Federation on 17.05.2018 of beef half-carcasses amounted to 203,60 thousand RUB/t (+0,2% over the week, and 1.0% by the end of December 2017), pork half – carcasses- 151,90 thousand RUB/t (+0,5% over the week, +1.2% to end December 2017), poultry – 94,68 thousand RUB/ton (+0.7% over the week, down 2.2% by the end of December 2017).

The market of milk and dairy products. In January-March 2018 the gross milk yield in farms of all categories amounted to 6.6 million tons and has increased relative to the level of 2017 by 2.2%, in the agricultural sector to the gross milk yield increased by 4.6% to 3.9 million tonnes.

According to operational data departmental weekly monitoring the price situation on food market average price of agricultural producers of the Russian Federation on 17.05.2018 on raw milk amounted to 21,79 RUB/kg (-0,14 RUB/kg per week, -2,94 RUB/kg by the end of December 2017).

The sugar market. In January-March 2018 the production of sugar declined by 5.2% compared to the same period in 2017 and built 430,4 thousand tons.

As 14.05.2018 wholesale price of sugar in the SFD for the week increased by 8.2% (+34,0 % since the beginning of the current year) and to 33.48 rubles/kg.
