Traffic growth is associated with high seasonal demand for products of key partners in the region of PGK – mills "Novorostsement" and "kavkaztsement", as well as increasing volumes of dolomite.
"The positive dynamics contributed to the successful operation of the branch with the consignees and Russian Railways to reduce downtime of cement during the period of seasonal demand. In particular, through effective interaction with market participants, we have significantly accelerated the time of cargo operations and ensure control of discharge of cars on the roads customers. These measures allowed to reduce a simple cement unloading to third. The number of long-term idle cement PGK at the landfill North-Caucasian railway has decreased by almost 230 units," – said the Director of branch Vadim Zhukov.
In particular, the volume of transportations of cement in the reporting period increased 30%, to 123,5 thousand tons of dolomite flour – almost in 1,5 times, to 3.4 thousand tons.
The cargo was followed with stations of the North-Caucasian railway in the local message and the address of the consignees of the Central and Central-Chernozem regions, the Volga region and the North.
