In the markets of Tajikistan, there is a sharp increase in the prices of agricultural products, reported today, June 14, "Asia-Plus".

Three times more common today are local apples — 15 TJS is 5 (105 instead of the 35 rubles).

It is noteworthy that imported bananas in the price has not changed. Also slightly changed the prices of basic foodstuffs.

Note that the sharp increase in prices in recent days due to completion of fasting in the Muslim Holy month of Ramadan. Tomorrow, June 15, the Muslim world will celebrate Eid al-Fitr or Kurban Bayram holiday. In may, the head of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has asked traders not to raise prices for products:

"I want to encourage entrepreneurs not to artificially inflate food prices in the Holy month of Ramadan, and not to torture their countrymen, because in most Muslim countries during Ramadan entrepreneurs conversely lower prices, because it is one of the pious deeds in Islam."
