"At the moment is actually threshed 132 thousand hectares, or 24%. The average yield this year for grain is 16 quintals per hectare is two times less than last year. And, accordingly, the total collection last year was 1.7 million tonnes. This will be 800 thousand tons of grain and pulse," — said the head of the RK.

However, he stressed that agricultural machinery is ready for harvest at 98%:

"Involving 874 harvester, of which 730 own. Thanks to the support of the government of the Russian Federation we have almost completely updated fleet of harvesters. For comparison: last year the harvesters over the age of 10 years was 90%, then 44%," — said the head of the RK.
