Milk production in the Stavropol Krai for five months of 2018 compared to the same period in 2017 declined by 3% — total volume amounted to 267 thousand tons. These data led July 10, the press service of the regional Ministry of agriculture. As noted, reduced milk production, primarily in private farms: in General, production volumes are already reduced by 5.5 thousand tons. While farmers, on the contrary, production volumes increase — the increase amounted to 3%.

The solution, according to the Department, would be the development of a network of dairy cooperatives: existing such structures, the procurement price of milk is an average of 19 rubles.
