The first phase of the programme started on 15 September. In tandem, the specialists intend to work in the framework of determining the most effective technologies of nitrogen fertilizer for sugar beet crops, affecting the quality of the beets and as a consequence the production of sugar and the so-called beet storability – storage culture for a long time. The main task of specialists is to clarify the dependence of the doses and period of application of nitrogen fertilizers on the quality of the beets. The results of the choice of the optimal technology is planned to increase sugar yield and to increase periods of storage of the beet in clamps.

Today, the experts are actively working to sampling. By the end of October it is planned to obtain and process data analysis for subsequent decision-making about which technology of sugar beet cultivation will be most acceptable.
