The event was attended by the head of Department of ensuring the uniformity of measurements of the fgbi "VGNKI" Alexei Zaitsev. Currently, fgbi "VGNKI" preparing for accreditation in national system of accreditation as a provider of inter-laboratory proficiency tests (ISI). VGNKI is planning to be the first provider of MSI in the food sector of Russia, accredited by the Federal accreditation service (Rosakkreditatsiya). According to the results of the seminar Alexey Zaytsev received a certificate of professional development in this area – availability of such evidence is a requirement of the Federal service for accreditation to the heads of staff of the provider, MSI.

Fgbu "VGNKI" is a provider of MSI in 2013 and has a valid certificate of Rosstandart (Federal Agency on technical regulation and Metrology). However, in 2014 it is the accreditation of the Federal service for accreditation confirms the competence of the provider inter-laboratory proficiency tests. Today in Russia there are only 11 accredited by the Federal accreditation service providers of ISI. In similar VGNKI activities is only 1 accredited service provider (in the area of grain research). The fgbi "VGNKI" plans to become the first accredited by the Federal accreditation service provider ISI in the direction of the quality assessment of food products in Russia, and with a significant scope of accreditation: to define during the ISI planned the measurement of over 140 indicators.

In the seminar in Sochi was attended by 35 representatives of testing laboratories and centers, the planning status of the provider ISI in the national system of accreditation. These employees represented the labs and centers operating in the food, medical, chemical, veterinary, and oil and gas industries.

The seminar covered the various nuances of the activity of provider of MSI with the requirements of the accreditation criteria and GOST ISO/IEC 17043-2013. Reviewed the requirements for service providers, coordinators and participants of the interlaboratory experiments, documenting experiments, practice organization, MMA in Russia and abroad, the legal side of the question, the design of inter-laboratory experiments and corresponding statistical methods of processing their results. During the seminar, Alexey Zaytsev made a report already carried out in VGNKI work to obtain the status of the provider, MSI.

In August this year to prepare VGNKI accreditation in national system of accreditation as a provider of MSI is a leading specialist of the Department of assurance of measurement uniformity Anton Salakhov visited the reference laboratory of the EU for the determination of contaminants in foods, which are providers of MSI.
