Don region with the beginning of the year exported more than 430 thousand tons of fats and vegetable oils. This figure is 30% more than in the first four months of 2018. About it reports management of information policy of the government of the Rostov region.
In particular, Donskoi Krai is on the second place in Russia on manufacture of refined oil, and also in the production of crude vegetable oil.
"The potential for growth in production capacities of the don enterprises of oil and fat industry can handle almost two times more agricultural products. The increase in volumes of export of oil products is possible due to production growth and modernization of the logistics infrastructure",- said the first Deputy Governor of the Rostov region Victor Goncharov.
In 2018, the region produced and processed about 1.5 million tons of oilseeds. Export of vegetable oil has reached 900 thousand tons, totaling 657 million dollars.
