The event was attended by the leadership of the Association "Rosspetsmash", Department of agricultural, food and road construction machinery of the Ministry of industry and trade of Russia, heads and specialists of factories for the production of road-building and trailers.

The main topics were the prospects of development of industries in the period of the spread of coronavirus infection, the measures of state support and development of new programs, prospects for improving rates of utilization fee on self-propelled and trailed equipment and component manufacturing.

Head of the Committee of road construction machinery manufacturers, Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC "Galich truck crane plant", JSC "klintsovskiy crane plant" and JSC "Kamyshin crane plant" Oleg Zelensky noted the relevance in the context of the pandemic put on the agenda issues: "we need to make every effort to support road-building engineering in Russia."

Acting Director, Department of agricultural, food and construction and road machinery of the Ministry of industry and trade of Russia Eduard Kiyko told about the ongoing mechanisms of state support, stating the high effectiveness of subsidy programs of leasing.

Deputy Director of the Association "Rosspetsmash" Vyacheslav Pronin has informed on the activities of the Association in the development of proposals to ban government purchases of foreign technology and discussed with the participants working within the framework of government resolution No. 719.

"To stimulate demand in the domestic market it is important to develop sectors of road construction and hook-engineering program similar to the government decision No. 1432 in agricultural engineering, which are subsidized discounts on equipment. Because leasing, despite its efficacy, is far from covering all of the transaction," he said.

Great attention in the Committee was focused on the issue of production localization in Russia of components. The positive dynamics of development of the industry can give subsidy programme research and development, if the plants-participants will focus on import substitution and production of new components. Today, the relevant government resolution has not yet been approved. Enterprises are waiting for his early start.

Following the meeting it was agreed to soon hold a meeting with participation of manufacturers of trailers, the Association "Rosspetsmash" and the Ministry of industry and trade, as well as a round table on the topic of subsidizing R & d to discuss in more detail the most pressing issues facing manufacturers.
