According to the results of grain exports in April (from 1 to 20 April) are substantially higher than the rate of exports last year. Thus, grain exports from 1 to 20 April 2018. 542,515 was 2 thousand tons (against 1 504,892 tons for the same period last year), including wheat – 1 963,067 thousand tons (against 1 111,6 tons for the same period last year), corn – 359,481 thousand tons (against 215,836 THD. MT in the same period last year), barley – 204,935 thousand tons (against 168,543 THD. MT in the same period last year)

The grain market in the reporting week were encouraged by good news on the strengthening of export prices in the Black sea to a record in 2014 of the level (though the increases were in dollar terms and the strengthening of the ruble it a bit limited). Preliminary results of grain exports in February (as 23.02.18) has already exceeded the level of last year. So, if at all in February 2017 were exported 1,804 million tonnes of grain (of which 1.2 million tonnes was wheat), over the 23 day of February 2018 was already taken 2,916 million tons of grain (2,378 million tons of wheat)

Since the beginning of the year, the ruble fell against the dollar by 4.4%, to Euro – by 2.2%. But during this period, on the stock exchange the dollar rose to almost 61 RUB/$ at the end of January and fell below 56 rubles/$ in mid-February. Then in March again reached 59,6 rubles./$ and was down to around 57,22 RUB the Euro since the beginning of the year was varied in the range 59,8-65 RUB./Euro
