The forecast estimates the gross harvest of soybean in Argentina for the reporting week has been once again reduced to 46.5 million tons (-5,5 million tons in comparison with the previous forecast). In addition to problems with possible soybean crop in Argentina, as harvesting in Brazil also spurred the market up. By mid-February in Brazil were harvested only 17% of the acreage (26% vs. last season). The reason for the slow progress of harvesting works are the rains. Rape in the reporting week grew. The increase for the nearest futures contract rapeseed for the reporting week amounted to 3,70 USD (up to 437,95 USD).

 

On the Malaysian stock exchange in Kuala Lumpur the nearest futures contract for palm oil for the reporting week rose 1.25 USD to 647,75 USD.
